Segree, trainerSaddlebrook is proud to introduce you to our resident trainer, Renee Segree. Renee was born in Jamaica with a love of horses. It was there that she began her riding career showing on the jumper circuit and eventing. She moved to West Virginia to follow her passion for riding and attend Meredith Manor Equestrian Center. Renee focused her studies on Dressage and Teaching. She finished the program with her certification in Teaching, having ridden over 100 horses and more than 1000 hours of instruction. She was hired by the school as an instructor and spent the next two years teaching over 70 students and helping to develop the schools teaching curriculum. During this time she was able to continue her riding education on upper level horses, riding to Prix St George and eventing to the Preliminary level. Renee moved to Georgia to run a large lesson program of over 50 students at a local hunter barn. Her students have enjoyed championships in the hunter, jumper, eventing, and dressage show rings. With an emphasis on one on one attention, she began teaching here at Saddlebrook and was able to develop a more personal clientele. With training in Sports Psychology and an in depth understanding of teaching, Renee is able to bring a rider up the levels with confidence. Utmost importance is placed on building from solid basics while maintaining motivation and confidence. She has trained many young horses as well as re-trained many that needed a fresh start. She instills confidence and athleticism in her horses with a strong knowledge of horse psychology and proper training technique. Let Renee use her passion for training and teaching to take you and your horse along the road to success! Saddlebrook offers a very supportive family of riders. From the avid competitor to the pleasure rider, we have a lesson program for you.Contact Renee by phone (706) 414-4855 or by Email |
